Vapor Fresh, a manufacturer of green cleaning products for the sports and fitness industry, has launched an updated version of its Vapor Fresh Disinfecting Gym Wipe Canisters.

Since 2016, Vapor Fresh has been selling jumbo refill rolls of plant-based disinfecting gym wipes to commercial gyms, community centers, college recreation centers and military bases.

In 2021, as people began using more workout equipment at home, Vapor Fresh launched a small canister version of their gym wipes to take the same plant based chemistry the top gyms were using and bring it into the home.

The company recently launched an updated version of these wipe canisters with the following improvements: 25% more wipes per canister; price lowered from $11.99/ea to $9.99/ea; hermetically sealed lid with easier dispensing of wipes; improved scent; and stronger wipe material.

According to the company, there have been numerous studies that connect quaternary ammonium compounds, the active ingredient in most other cleaning products, with asthma, eczema and reproductive health concerns. Vapor Fresh is completely free of quaternary ammonium compounds.

“We’ve always believed it’s incredibly important to limit your exposure to toxic chemicals if you want to keep your body healthy and at peak performance,” says Stephen Steinberg, founder of Vapor Fresh. “What you clean your sports & fitness equipment with will eventually come in direct and prolonged contact with your body.”

By using plant based citric acid as their active ingredient, Vapor Fresh kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and fungi on the surface of fitness equipment without the use of quaternary ammonium compounds.
